Donald C. Smith, age 64, of 4113 White Dove Lane S.W., died Friday morning at his residence. Mr. Smith was retired for Honeywell. He was a member of Grandin Court Baptist Church and a member of the Mending Hearts. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Kathy M. Smith; a son and daughter-in-law, David L. and Carol Smith, Bland; a daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Vince Scollieri, Portsmouth; a brother, Ken Smith, Northeast, Md.; a sister, Mrs. Betty Harrell, Edenton, N.C.; four grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorials may be made to Grandin Court Baptist Church. Services will be at 1:00 p.m. Monday at Oakey's South Chapel. The Rev. Robert M. Hamner and the Rev. Paul J. Harrell officiating. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Bedford, Va. The family will receive friends at Oakey's South Chapel from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. and from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Sunday.
