SCULPTOR'S WORK IS SUBJECT OF TWO FILMS

Two films about Albert Paley and his work will be shown tonight at 7 in Room 316 of the Arnold R. Burton Technology Center in Salem.

Paley is the nationally known artist who was chosen to do an outdoor sculpture for the new Roanoke Regional Airport Terminal. The work is in progress and is to be installed in the fall.

The Paley films are part of a weekly series being run at the Burton center by Roanoke County artist-in-residence Ed Dolinger. There is no charge for admission to the Paley films or any others in the series, which continues through March 29.

One of Thursday's films is about Paley's creation of huge exterior gates for the west wing of the Virginia Museum. The second film is about other Paley projects, including gates to the Renwick Galley in Washington and an outdoor sculpture for the Strong Museum in Rochester, N.Y.
