OBIT TROUT, A.

Mrs. Alice Green Trout, age 88, of Roanoke, died in a Roanoke hospital Wednesday morning, March 7, 1990. She was the widow of Dr. Hugh Henry Trout, Sr., a graduate of Cornell University and formerly taught chemistry at Hollins College. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Hugh J. (Alice Trout) Hagan, Jr.; son, Albert Henry Trout, Baltimore, Md.; stepdaughter, Mrs. Herman A. Bolster, Roanoke; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at Christ Episcopal Church, 12:00 noon Friday by the Rev. Deborah Hunley. Burial will be in Fair View Cemetery. The family suggests memorials be made to the Hugh Trout Nursing Scholarship Fund, c/o Community Hospital of Roanoke Valley, 101 Elm Ave., S.E., Roanoke, VA 24013.
