OBIT PRILLAMAN, H.

ROCKY MOUNT - Mrs. Hester D. Prillaman, age 89, passed away Tuesday, March 6, 1990, in a Richmond hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. George Noel Prillaman, on January 17, 1978. Surviving is one daughter and son-in-law, Logene and Roy Cannaday, Rocky Mount; four sons and daughters-in-law, Billy M. and Jean Prillaman, Fredericksburg; Ray and Audrey Prillaman, Rocky Mount; Morris and Garnelle Prillaman, Williamsburg; Joe Allen and Georgia Prillaman, Salem; one sister, Mrs. Odessa Blevins, Rocky Mount; two brothers, Forest Dodson, Charleston, W. Va.; Jay Dodson, Ferrum; eleven grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Friday, in Lynch Chapel, with the Rev. J. Larry Holland and Rev. Randall Blackwell officiating. Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Park. Friends may call at Lynch Funeral Home after 2:00 p.m. Thursday where the family will be from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorials may be made to the Franklin Heights Baptist Church Building Fund.
