LITERACY PROJECT RAISES FUNDS WITH MEDALLIONS

Project HELP, the Highlands Educational Literacy Project, is selling sterling silver Washington County bicentennial medallions to raise money for literacy projects.

One side of the medallion shows the U.S. Constitution and the county's 200th birthday date of Sept. 17, 1987, and the other symbolizes the county's heritage artistically.

The medallions cost $25, or five for $100. They can be ordered by telephoning Anne Tipton at 628-2971.
