CIRCUIT CITY POSTS RECORD INCOME GAIN

Circuit City Stores Inc. posted record revenues of $2.1 billion and a 2 percent sales increase in stores open at least a year for the selling year that ended Feb. 28.

Counting new stores opened during 1990, sales increased 22 percent, up from $1.7 billion in 1989, the company said Tuesday.

February sales increased 25 percent over February 1989, to $143.2 million. - Associated Press
