SECURITY GUARDS SEEN AS PREJUDICED

DURING THE Christmas season, my family and I were at Valley View Mall. Some of us, waiting on the others, were standing around. A security guard told us we had to move, for no reason.

There were some white people beside us acting loud and obnoxious, and the guard didn't say anything to them. I believe most of the security guards are very prejudiced toward blacks. CARLA LEFTWICH Student, William Byrd High School ROANOKE
