MAX MEADOWS GIRL KILLED IN ACCIDENT

A 16-year-old Max Meadows girl was killed Wednesday afternoon when her car struck an embankment on Interstate 81 and turned over several times, throwing her from the car.

Brigette Nicole Wilson of Route 3 died later at Wythe County Community Hospital.

Two children, 8 months and 4 years old, were in the car, but were not seriously injured in the 3 p.m. accident in Wythe County.
