ROANOKE MAN HONORED BY BARBERSHOP CHAPTER

Jack Pebbles of Roanoke has been named Barbershopper of the Year by the Roanoke Valley chapter of the Society for the Preservation and Encouragement of Barbershop Quartet Singing in America.

Pebbles, who sings lead in the Virginia Gentlemen chorus, produces the Chordhusker, the chapter's monthly publication, and has produced programs for the chapter's annual show.
