MANNING, ROSCOE\ Mr. Roscoe Manning, age 70, of Salem, died Wednesday, March 14, 1990. He is survived by his wife, Mary Craighead Manning; one daughter, Mary F. Hogan, Blue Ridge; three sons, Ted L. Manning, Salem; J. W. Manning, Narrows; Joe D. Manning, Wise; two sisters, Bea Beason and Grace Taliferro, both of Salem; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; a number of nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday at Cedar Lawn Burial Park with the Rev. Phillip Scott officiating. Friends may call from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Thursday at the John M. Oakey & Son Funeral Home, Salem.
