BLACKSBURG - Estelle D. Mayo, age 5, departed this life Friday evening at the
University of Virginia Hospital in Charlottesville after a long illness. She
was born August 22, 1985, in Blacksburg. Her survivors are her mother, Louise
Mayo Medley, Blacksburg; father, Richard Calfee, Dublin; one sister, Sharhonda
Medley, Blacksburg; grandmother, Gracie Reynolds, Blacksburg; three aunts,
Patricia Mayo, Estelle Fuller, and Barbara J. Thompson; godparents, Curtis and
Rita Tolliver, Radford. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. at the
First Baptist Church on Clay Street in Blacksburg, conducted by the Rev. P.L.
Barrett. Burial will be in Blacksburg Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday
from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the church.
