OBIT--BURDETTE

Mr. Woodrow Wilson Burdette, age 78, of Salem died Wednesday in his home. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Lola M. Burdette; four sons, Charles Burdette, and Jiles Burdette, both of Roanoke; Philip Burdette, of Bedford; Robert Burdette, of Ladson, S.C.; two daughters, Mrs. Raymond (Rebecca) Robinson, Mrs. Dean (Wanda) Halsey, both of Salem; two brothers, Shady Burdette, of Thousand Ponds, Calif.; Joe Burdette, of Danville; three sisters, Mrs. Thelma Fox, Charleston, S.C.; Mrs. Beulah Meadows, of Franklinton, La.; Mrs. Margaret Woods, of Moneta; 14 grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 14, 1990 at 12:00 noon at the Lotz Salem Chapel with Rev. Larry Meador officiating. Interment will be in Sherwood Memorial Park. Friends may call at Lotz Salem Chapel.
