FORMER RESIDENT:JUSTICE HOUSE A SUBVERSIVE CULT

IN RESPONSE to your March 22 story concerning David Hayden's defying the census workers: you can hear from a man who lived in the Justice House that Hayden, to start with, is a radical and fanatic preaching communism cloaked under the name of Christianity.

Knowingly or not, he uses doctrine and slogans such as "woe on to the rich." Justice House is a cult subverting the minds of the homeless and oppressed, using emotionalism toward the men and women who have children, and teaching hate toward the rich ruling classes as if they do not care to share their wealth with the poor.

Abraham Lincoln said: "Let not him who is homeless pull down the house of another, but let him labor diligently to build one for himself." Justice House makes the homeless obligated and controls the dictates of a person's conscience - they prey on weaknesses! Furthermore, they are their own militia and police force. No local police are allowed in Justice House to issue warrants or to serve and protect due to the fact (remember, I lived there for eight months) that the place is infested with drunks, drug users and whores. It is a den of robbers.

The mother of my children was almost raped by a drunk, and was told to call no police, that they would take care of the matter. They didn't.

Concerning the census, I theorize there are at least 51 people residing at Justice House. This may not be accurate, but there could be no more than 60 individuals and two tenants paying rent there before Hayden.\ JOSEPH RIVERA\ ROANOKE CITY INMATE
