LOW OF 25 TOPPLES RECORD SET IN 1976

The National Weather Service says a low of 25 degrees this morning set a record for the date. The low registered at 6:30 a.m. broke a 29-degree record reading in 1976.

The weather service predicted a high today near 60.

Tonight is supposed to be fair and not as cold, with a low in the upper 30s.

Saturday, there is a 40 percent chance of rain in the afternoon.

Partly sunny skies are forecast for Easter Sunday.
