FLOYD - Janet Faye Simpkins Howell, age 54, passed away Friday, April 13,
1990, at her home. She was an operating room technician for Montgomery
Regional Hospital. Surviving are two daughters, Deborah Howell and Amy Howell,
both of Floyd; three sons, Timothy Howell and Tony Howell, Christiansburg;
Christopher Howell, Floyd; mother, Arnie Gallimore Simpkins, Floyd; two
sisters, Betty Saul, Fancy Gap, Va.; Mary Sue Akers, Floyd; three brothers,
Quinton Simpkins, Christiansburg; Paul Simpkins and Clark Simpkins, Floyd; two
grandchildren, Travis Crawford and Amanda Crawford of Floyd. Funeral services
will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, April 16, 1990, at the Maberry Funeral Home Chapel
with the Rev. Harold Fitzgerald and the Rev. Kenneth Farmer officiating.
Burial will be in Beaver Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends from
2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Sunday at the Maberry Funeral Home.
