WILLIAMSES, BRICKEY PLAY IN SALEM

Duke's Robert Brickey and twins Ramon and Damon Williams from VMI are the latest players to commit to play in an all-star game at 7:30 tonight at Salem High.

Former Salem High and Virginia star Richard Morgan, one of the organizers, will be joined by five former UVa teammates, including Mel Kennedy off the Cavaliers' 1988 team.

Other participants include Quin Snyder, formerly of Duke, and ex-Wake Forest players Cal Boyd and Ralph Kitley. Morgan said Saturday night that he is in contact with several other prospects, including Alaa Abdelnaby and Phil Henderson of Duke and Brian Howard of N.C. State.

Tickets are $5 and can be purchased at the high school, Ground Round and Surf and Turf.

There will be a dunking contest and a 3-point shooting contest at halftime, as well as an auction for an autographed ball. - Staff report
