PLANNING COMMISSION ELECTS NEW OFFICERS

William P. Harris, chairman of the Buchanan County Board of Supervisors, has been elected chairman of the Cumberland Plateau Planning District Commission for 1990-91.

He served two previous terms as chairman, during 1980-82 and 1987-88.

Other officers elected this month in the four-county planning district are Mike Puckett, Russell County, vice chairman; Tom Cash, Tazewell County, secretary; and Burl Short, Dickenson County, treasurer.
