\ ROCKY MOUNT - Mrs. Mattie Greer Hodges, age 82, of Rt. 4, Rocky Mount, died Sunday, May 6, 1990, in the Franklin Health Care Center. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Toy Noel Hodges. Surviving are one brother, Luther E. Greer, Roanoke; a special friend, Margaret B. Jones, Rocky Mount; a special niece, Peggy Meeks, Rocky Mount; one foster daughter, Gale Seltzer, Hampton; two foster grandchildren, Sharon and Tracy Seltzer; also several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at the Gogginsville United Methodist Church by the Rev. L. Stanley Wright. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Monday at the Arrington-Bussey Funeral Home of Rocky Mount.
