\ HILLSVILLE - Mr. Carl Levi Lindsey, age 81, passed away at his home on Rt. 3, Hillsville, on Sunday, May 6, 1990. He was born in Carroll County and was the son of the late Beverly and Ida Marshall Lindsey. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Edna Henley Lindsey, of the home; five sons, Mr. Sammy Lindsey, Mr. Bobby Lindsey, Mr. Lonnie Lindsey, Mr. Roger Lindsey and Mr. James Lindsey, all of Hillsville; two daughters, Mrs. Ernest (Darlene) Quesenberry, Sylvatus; Mrs. Blain (Maxine) Quesenberry, Woodlawn; five sisters, Mrs. Mag Ferguson, Shelby, Ohio; Mrs. Mazie Warner, Hillsville; Mrs. Iva Sutphin, Willis; Mrs. Stella Cox, Willis; Mrs. Thelma Marshall, Frederick, Md.; seventeen grandchildren; one stepgrandchild; eleven great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be Wednesday, May 9, at 1:00 p.m. at the Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel with the Rev. Allen Thompson, Dr. James DeBoe and the Rev. Brian Childress officiating with interment to follow in the Liberty Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel, Hillsville.
