Heilig-Meyers Co., a Richmond furniture chain operating several Western Virginia stores, reported first-quarter earnings of $7.1 million, up from $5.9 million a year ago. Revenues were a record $112.7 million, up from $99.1 million.

Home Shopping Network's common shares are listed on the New York Stock Exchange under HSN, effective Wednesday.

Striking Greyhound drivers have agreed to a National Labor Relations Board order banning them from throwing Molotov cocktails, spitting on strikebreakers or harassing drivers on the road, union officials said Wednesday. Also prohibited were firing guns or shouting "vile epithets" at strikebreakers.
