PROPERTY, REAL ESTATE TAXES RISE IN GRAYSON

Grayson County taxpayers will see a 60-cent increase on their personal property taxes and a 6-cent increase on real estate this fiscal year.

The Grayson County Board of Supervisors voted 3-1 June 28 to approve a budget including increases from $6.70 to $7.30 per $100 assessed value on personal property and from 60 to 66 cents on real estate.

Rebecca Dickenson was the only supervisor to vote against the $17.6 million budget for 1990-91.
