FIRST, SECOND AMENDMENTS LINKED

YOUR EMOTIONAL attacks on the Second Amendment are exceeded only by your hysterical ranting when the First appears to be in jeopardy. Intelligent people recognize that the two are inexorably intertwined, as the authors intended.

If you doubt this, read some of your own recent issues. Immediately after confiscating privately owned firearms in Lithuania, the Russians closed a printing plant and shut down an opposition newspaper. Coincidence? I think not. Even a casual glance at history tells us that tyranny cannot coexist with an armed citizenry and a free press.

Your hypocrisy ill becomes you and just might contain the seeds of your own destruction.
