MULLINS, MARGARET L. \ AVONDALE, W.VA. - Margaret Louise (Granny) Mullins,

age 90, died late Wednesday evening in a Welch, W.Va. hospital following a long illness. She was born December 28, 1900 at Garland, W.Va. a daughter of the late James and Ellen White Addair. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Joseph Burbridge; two sons, Carl and Hubert; five brothers; and three sisters. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Herman (Gertrude) Roberts, Bradshaw, W.Va.; Mrs. Betty Jean Thomas, Vinton; three stepdaughters, Mrs. Ethel Cross White, Salem; Mrs. Dora Handy, Roanoke; Mrs. Hazel Morris, Parkersburg, W.Va.; eight sons, Fred Mullins, Farmville; Mack and Clyde Mullins, both of Fayetteville, N.C.; Donald Mullins, Douglas Mullins, both of Roanoke; J.B. Mullins, Vinton; Bobby Dean Mullins, Bedford; Dowell Mullins, Davidson, Mich.; grandson she raised, Wayne Mullins, Richmond; two sisters, Mrs. Edna Boyd, English, W.Va.; Mrs. Vicie Webb, Cedar Bluff; 35 grandchildren; 49 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 1:00 p.m. from the Chapel of the Fanning Funeral Home in Iaeger, W.Va. with the Rev. Booker Riffe officiating. Burial will be in the Shortridge Cemetery at Garland, W.Va. The family will receive friends at the Chapel Friday from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m.
