CHATHAM HALL GIRLS HOLD OFF NORTH CROSS

North Cross outscored Chatham Hall 16-8 in the final period, but the 37-32 deficit at the end of the game was as close as the Raiders could come in Blue Ridge Conference girls' basketball Wednesday.

Blair Calvert scored all eight of her points, including two 3-pointers, in the final period, but Chatham Hall's 29-16 lead after three periods proved too much.

Michelle Esguerra led the Raiders (8-9 overall, 4-7 in the conference) with 10 points.

Chatham Hall (5-6, 5-6) was led by Elizabeth Blocker, who scored 12 of her 14 points in the first half.
