Lineberry advances at CPA firm

CHRIS D. LINEBERRY has been admitted as a shareholder and principal of Moore & Campbell, P.C., certified public accountants in Hollins. He has been with Moore & Campbell for six years as senior manager. Lineberry has 13 years ofexperience in public accounting and served two years as auditor of public accounts for the state.

MEDIA

\ KEVIN KENNEY has joined K92 Radio as general manager. He comes from WPXY AM/FM in Rochester, N.Y. where he was program director and operations manager. Kenney succeeds AL CASEY, who has been named general manager of K92's sister stations WJQI AM/FM in Norfolk. Also at K92, TIM WRIGHT has been promoted to account executive and RENEE MOLER to promotions assistant.

ORGANIZATIONS

\ I.J. PAYNE III, of New River Electrical Corp. in Roanoke, has been elected president and governor of the Virginia Chapter of the National Electrical Contractors Association. ROBERT HOLMBERG of Goff Electric Co. in Lynchburg has been elected to the executive committee.

\ JACK LANG has been elected president of the Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Wholesalers Association, an international group. Lang is president of Southern Refrigeration Corp. in Roanoke.

\ MORRIS CREGGER has been elected treasurer of the American Supply Association, the national organization of plumbing, heating, cooling and piping wholesale distributors. Cregger, who now lives in South Carolina, was formerly with Noland Co. in Roanoke.

\ GEORGE HONEYCUTT, Blue Ridge plant superintendent for W.W. Boxley Co., has been appointed to the Botetourt County Industrial Development Authority and the Solid Waste Task Force for the county.

LAW

The law office of Woods, Rogers & Hazlegrove in Roanoke has named the following new associates: ELEANOR A. LASKY, ANNE V. SPRAGUE, PHILIP W. PARKER, JULIE MCCLELLAN and CAROLE M. AGEE.

\ CHERYL D. WATSON has become an associate of the Roanoke law office of Mundy, Rogers & Frith.

\ AGNIS CHAKRAVORTY has joined The Center for Employment Law in Roanoke.

\ DONAVON LEE FAVRE has opened a law office in Glasgow.

\ JAMES E. BALLOWE JR., formerly of Roanoke, has been elected chairman-elect of the Young Lawyers Section of the Virginia Bar Association. He is a partner in McGuire, Woods, Battle & Boothe which has six offices in Virginia and Washington.

\ FRANK O. MEADE has been elected as a fellow of the Virginia Law Foundation which aids in improving administration of justice and furthering public understanding of law. Meade is a partner in the Danville office of Woods, Rogers & Hazlegrove.
