OBIT LUCK, H.

Miss Helen F. Luck, age 84, died Friday, February 22, 1991, in Roanoke. She was born in Bedford County on June 3, 1906, a daughter of the late Robert Hugh Luck and Lillian Flora Hatcher Luck. She was a member of Walnut Grove Church and was a retired schoolteacher having taught in Bedford County for over 35 years. She was a graduate of Radford College and a member of the Retired Teachers Association. She is survived by several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday at 2:00 p.m. at Walnut Grove Church with the Rev. Elmer W. Sellers officiating. Burial in the Luck Family Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Walnut Grove Church. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Saturday at the Carder-Tharp Funeral Home.
