OBIT BOONE, E.

Edna Hubbard Boone, age 79, of Roanoke County, died Saturday, February 23, 1991. She was the widow of Charlie E. Boone (former Sheriff of Roanoke County). Surviving are three sisters-in-law, Retha B. Manning, Mary B. Davis, both of Boones Mill; Grace B. Johnson, Salem; a close nephew and his wife, Gerald and Sylvia Boone; also numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be held at Red Hill Church of the Brethren Monday, February 25, 2:00 p.m. with the Rev. Ernie Deyerle II and the Rev. Peter Leddy officiating. Interment will be in the Martin Cemetery, Roanoke County. Friends may call at Oakey's South Chapel.
