GLENVAR PULLS AWAY FOR PIONEER VICTORY

Scott Highberger led a balanced attack with 14 points as Glenvar defeated Craig County 66-48 in a Pioneer District boys' basketball game.

Craig County (8-12, 7-11) scored only nine points in the fourth quarter as the Highlanders pulled away. Jonathan Lee had a game-high 15 points for the Rockets, who managed only 10 field goals on 22 percent (10-of 45) shooting. Trent Lipes added 13 points.

Chad Willis and Frank Thomas each added 12 points for Glenvar.
