W. CAROLINA COMPLETES SWEEP OF RADFORD

Western Carolina won both games of a doubleheader Sunday to complete a three-game sweep of Radford in college baseball.

Andy Dunn's bases-loaded single in the seventh inning drove in the winning run in the Catamounts' 6-5 first-game win. Dunn had a three-run homer as Western Carolina (4-6) won the second game 12-3.

Dennis VanPelt had three hits for Radford (0-3) in the first game. Pitcher Russ Schellhase took the loss in the second game, giving up 10 runs and nine hits in 3 2/3 innings.
