SWORD SHIPMENT DELAYED

Q: On Oct. 5, I ordered a mercenary sword from Dragon Treasures at a science-fiction convention in Salem.

I paid $145 for the sword, which was to arrive within eight weeks.

I was living in my mother's house when I ordered the sword, but have since moved. I sent the company my new address, but have not gotten a response. - Troy Bowman, Catawba.

A: On your behalf Quickline contacted Vic Martine, owner of Dragon Treasures and Silver Sword & Stone of Pensacola, Fla.

The sword you ordered comes from the Middle East, so his shipment has been stopped or delayed, Martine said. Also, he had an incorrect address and no telephone number to contact you to explain the delay, he said.

Since our first call, Martine told Quickline he has been in contact with you to explain the problem, and that you have decided to wait for the order. If you do not receive it, contact us again.
