`SONG & DANCE' AT SHOWTIMERS

"Song & Dance," the Andrew Lloyd Webber musical about the coming of age of an English girl named Emma, opens today at the Showtimers' studio theater.

The Tony Award-winning show features Karen Crush Branch as the girl who travels to America and becomes a woman. Her story is told entirely in song. In the second act, there is a parallel story in dance.

Susan Brugh directs the show. Musical direction is by Sharon Capps, and the choreographer is Patsy Castellano.

"Song & Dance" is the opening show in Showtimers' 41st season.

The show will continue through March 24, running Thursday through Sunday each week. Curtain time is 8 p.m. for all performances except those on Sundays, when the show begins at 3 p.m.

Tickets information is available at 774-2660.
