OBIT SAUNDERS, S.

Mr. Sam Pete Saunders, age 56, of Rt. 4, died Monday, March 4. He is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Carol S. Williams, Cleveland, Ohio; Ms. Patricia Y. Saunders, Ms. Alicia M. Saunders, both of Rocky Mount; three sons, Sam Pete Saunders, Jr., Austin, Texas; Charles Holland, Rocky Mount; Peter Webb, New York, N.Y.; three sisters, Mrs. Margaret Holland, Mrs. Lillie O'Neal, Mrs. Mary Helm, all of Rocky Mount; three grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be conducted on Friday at 1:00 p.m. at Stanfield Mortuary Chapel with the Rev. Charles Hancock officiating. The family will receive friends at Stanfield Mortuary Chapel on Thursday from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. Interment will be in Carolina Springs Church Cemetery.
