SIMPSON, ELIJAH F.

Elijah F. Simpson died Wednesday, March 6, 1991. He is survived by his wife, Kathleen K. Simpson; one son, I. Warren Simpson, Roanoke; two stepsons, Robert King, Chesterfield; Charles King, Huntington Beach, Calif.; three stepdaughters, Roberta Lee, Powhatan; Cathy Keller, Ashland; Mary Robinette, Vandelia, Ohio; five brothers, John R., G. Thomas, Harvey L., James E., and W. Lloyd Simpson; three sisters, Mae S. Hall; Rena S. Tignor; Virginia S. Shiflett; fourteen grandchildren; two great-grandchildren. The remains rest at Joseph W. Bliley's Chippenham Chapel, 6900 Hull Street, Richmond, where services will be held Friday, March 8 at 2:00 p.m. with interment at Maury Cemetery in Richmond. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that contributions be made to Oak Grove Baptist Church Building Fund, 3801 Beulah Rd, Richmond, Va 23237.
