CIAFARDINI, BESSIE M./ Mrs. Bessie M. Smith Ciafardini, age 71, of Salem died Wednesday. She is survived by three sons, John Ciafardini, Fincastle; Manuel Ciafardini, Salem; Earnest Ciafardini, Roanoke; two daughters, Mrs. Mary Sweeney; Mrs. Emma Hodge, both of Roanoke; one brother, Junior Hamm, Greensboro, NC; two sisters, Mrs. Bell Stevens, Greensboro, NC; Mrs. Delmar Lester, Eltkin, Md.; eighteen grandchildren; two great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be held Friday, March 8, 1991, at 3:00 p.m. at Sherwood Memorial Park. Friends may call at Lotz Salem Chapel.
