DR. SEUSS FILM FESTIVAL SCHEDULED WEDNESDAY AT BLACKSBURG LIBRARY

The Blacksburg library will hold a Dr. Seuss Film Festival Wednesday at 7 p.m. Blacksburg's junior women's club will show three films: "Cat in the Hat," "Hoober-Bloob Highway" and "The Lorax." Refreshments will be served.

There will be a program for children ages 5 and up at the Peterman Library in Floyd on "Native Americans in Virginia" Thursday at 4 p.m. Graham Simmerman, an will present the program on Indian dress, dances and artifacts.

At the Christiansburg library, there will be a program on "Bugs, Butterflies and Bookworms" March 18 at 4 p.m. David Judge of Virginia Tech will show slides and live giant hissing cockroaches. Children may bring bugs of their choice for identification.
