MONEY MANAGEMENT FOR WOMEN WILL BE TOPIC OF SPRING WORKSHOPS

Eight weekly workshops on money management for women will be held in May, sponsored by the Pulaski County Extension Homemakers and the American Association of Retired Persons.

Participants can choose either morning or evening sessions. The workshops will be presented Tuesdays, 7-9 p.m., April 2- May 21 and Thursdays, 10 a.m.-noon, April 4-May 21. Programs will be held at Dublin United Methodist Church.

Dates and topics are:

\ April 2 or 4: "Getting Organized for Financial Management," Carol Brockmeyer, Signet Bank.

\ April 9 or 11: "Understanding Cash Flow," Anne Chrisman, Crestar Bank.

\ April 16 or 18: "Designing A Cash Flow System," Charlotte Shrewsbury, First Virginia Bank.

\ April 23 or 25: "Caregiving," Joyce Dixon, Blue Cross and Blue Shield; John Ward, Social Security Administration; Vena Duncan, New River Valley Agency on Aging.

\ April 30 or May 2: "Deciding What If. . .?" Speaker to be announced.

\ May 7 or 9: "Women and Investments," Mary Plott, IDS Financial Services.

\ May 14 or 16: "Women and Insurance," by Irene Leech.

\ May 21 or 23: "Legal Matters," lawyer Darrel Tillar.

There is a $15 fee for the program, which includes a workbook and other materials. For information, call the Pulaski County Extension Office at 639-9689 or 980-7761 before next Tuesday.
