GET OUT OF OTHERS' BEDROOMS, LIVES

THE "NATURE vs. Nurture" argument regarding homosexuality is old, and much has been written to support both sides. The final word on this subject has not been written.

Thelma Morrison (letter, March 2) is worried that we may teach untruths when we "educate children in regard to homosexuality." I'm worried that a large number of children cannot find Virginia on an unmarked map. I'm worried that almost one out of four Virginians cannot read. That there are so many people who cannot physically read this letter should worry Ms. Morrison about how we "educate" the children of Virginia.

It's high time people concentrated their energies to better society as a whole and got out of the bedrooms and lifestyles of others. GERALD A. NEWMAN COVINGTON
