VIRGINIA BURIES YALE 13-6 IN LACROSSE

Perry Frazer scored four goals with three assists, and top-ranked Virginia downed eighth-ranked Yale 13-6 in a men's lacrosse game Tuesday at Scott Stadium.

The Cavaliers (5-0) are off to their best start ever.

With score 5-5 in the second quarter, Kevin Pehlke, who had three goals and three assists, scored an unassisted goal at 13:17 to give UVa the lead for good.

Virginia put away the game by scoring the first three goals of the third quarter.

Andy Kraus also scored three goals for the Cavaliers, who outshot the Elis 63-17.

Yale is 3-1.
