WYTHEVILLE - Donna V. Powers, age 56, died Wednesday, March 20, 1991, at the Wythe County Community Hospital. She was a native of Washington County and had lived in Wytheville since 1985. She is survived by two sons, William Lacy Barr, Wytheville, Va.; Eric Stephen Powers, Wytheville, Va.; two daughters, Mrs. Connie F. Umberger, Wytheville; Mrs. Deborah Hope Childress, Wytheville; her mother, Mrs. Bessie Mae Barr, Glade Spring, Va.; three brothers, Robert Virgil Barr, Glade spring, Va.; Charles Ray Barr, Damascus, Va.; and Roy D. Barr, Glade Spring, Va.; one sister, Mrs. Laura Faye McCracken, Glade Spring; five grandchildren. Farris Funeral Service, Abingdon, is in charge of the arrangements. A graveside service for Mrs. Donna Virginia Powers will be conducted Saturday afternoon at 2:00 in the Pleasant View Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Mahlon Wyatt officiating. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 Friday night at the Farris Funeral Service in Abingdon.
