SALEM GOLF TOURNAMENT SCHEDULED APRIL 13

The eighth annual Spring Fling Captain's Choice Golf Tournament, sponsored by the Salem Parks and Recreation Department, will be held April 13 and the Salem Municipal Golf Course.

Chuck Johnston, manager of the course, will select the teams, which will tee off at 8:30 a.m. or 1:30 p.m.

Entry fee is $20 per person and the tournament is limited to the first 100 entrants before the April 8 deadline.

Proceeds from the tournament will benefit a Salem family who needs financial help because of the extended illness of a family member.
