ALMIRE, FRANCES F.\ Frances Fisher Almire, age 66, of 1012 Laurel Street, died Friday, March 29, 1991, in a Manassas, Virginia nursing home. She was born in Max Meadows August 5, 1924, a daughter of the late John Claude Fisher and Mary Blanche Arnold Fisher. She was the widow of Evans Henry Almire. She was a retired telephone operator and was a member of Trinity Baptist Church. She is survived by her brother, John L. Fisher, and her sister, Pauline F. Hurley, both of Manassas; also several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 2:00 p.m. in the Carder-Tharp Funeral Chapel with the Rev. David L. Engleman officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. The family suggests those wishing to make memorials consider the American Cancer Society. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Sunday at the Carder-Tharp Funeral Home, Bedford.
