OBIT - HARRIS, L.

HARRIS, LORENE S.\ Lorene Enid Surface Harris, 71, of Salem, died Saturday in a Salem hospital. She waws the widow of Ira C. Harris. Surviving are seven sons and daughters-in-law, Danny L. and Kathy Harris, Thomas W. and Gisela Harris; Ira C. Jr. and Evelyn Harris, Cecil D. and Judy Harris, William S. (Billy) and Wanda Harris, Bob B. and Carol Harris, Doug Harris; two daughters and sons-in-law, Nancy and Larry Marsh and Frances and Joe Fitzgerald; sixteen grandchildren, one great-grandson; three brothers and sisters in-law, D. Edward and Marie Surface, Lewis and Elizabeth Surface, Paul I. and Elsie Surface; several nieces and nephews. Funeral will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Monday at the John M. Oakey & Son Funeral Home, Salem, with the Rev. Glenn Colley and the Rev. Charles Gwaltney officiating. Burial will be in Sherwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 3:00 to 9:00 Sunday evening at the funeral home.
