PAMANDA GETS NEW DIRECTOR

KEVIN R. LOCHNER of Roanoke has been promoted to director of operations of Pamanda Inc., a franchise of Little Caesars Pizza Restaurants in Southwest and central Virginia. He will be responsible for day-to-day operations of all 23 stores. Lochner joined the company in 1987 as store manager and was promoted to training manager later that year. In 1989 he was promoted to area supervisor for Christiansburg, Pulaski, Wytheville and Galax.

\ JOHN P. FISHWICK JR. and BRIAN R. JONES have announced the formation of their law practice, Fishwick and Jones, in Roanoke. Fishwick is a graduate of the law school at Washington and Lee University. He has served as a law clerk to James C. Turk, chief judge for the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Virginia. Jones is a graduate of the law school at the College of William and Mary. He was most recently with Woods, Rogers and Hazlegrove in Roanoke. Associate LINDA M. BETLESKI UTTAL is a graduate of the University of Detroit Law School. She was an assistant prosecuting attorney in Wayne County, Mich., before joining Fishwick's practice in 1989.

\ PHILLIP M. SADLER has been named a life fellow of the American Bar Foundation. He is the senior partner in Gilmer, Sadler, Ingram, Sutherland & Hutton, which has offices in Pulaski, Blacksburg and Galax. The Fellows of the American Bar Foundation is an organization of lawyers and judges who support the research program of the non-profit foundation.

\ CHARLES BRECKENRIDGE ARRINGTON JR. has been named to the newly created position of executive vice president of the Virginia Bar Association.

\ AWARDS

\ GARY STALLARD of Stallard's Taxidermy in Wytheville has received several awards from the Virginia Taxidermist Association including the Peoples Choice Award and Judges Choice - Best of Category. Stallard also earned first-, second- and third-place ribbons.

\ S. MASON CARBAUGH has been named "Outstanding Friend of Virginia Agriculture" by the Friends of the Industry of Agriculture. He is commissioner of the Virginia Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services. Although Carbaugh announced his retirement as of Dec. 31, 1990, he is continuing as commissioner until a successor is named.
