FISHER ANNIVERSARY
Frances and Russell Fisher celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary on
April 5, 1991. The celebration was held at their home near Rocky Mount, Va.,
and was hosted by their children, Everett, Danny and Jill. They were married
April 5, 1941 in Spray, N.C. They have lived in Rocky Mount for 30 years.
She's the former Frances Helena Agee. They have two sons, Everett Fisher of
Arlington; Danny Fisher of Rocky Mount; one daughter, Jill Fisher Bass of
Vinton; and four grandchildren, David and Amanda Bass, and Dawn and Lori
Fisher. He is retired from the Roanoke City Schools. They are members of
Fairview Church of the Brethren, and Virginia State Beekeeper Association.
They had many out-of-town friends and relatives that attended their
celebration.
