MUSICAL PERFORMANCE COMES TO HIGH SCHOOL

The national tour of the Rodgers and Hammerstein musical, "The Sound of Music," will be performed at Powell Valley High School Sunday at 7:30 p.m.

It is co-sponsored by Pro-Art Association as part of the W. Campbell Edmonds Memorial Concert Series and by the Slemp Foundation. Tickets are $10 for adults, $7 for senior citizens and $5 for students.

This performance staging the adventures of the Von Trapp Family Singers in Nazi-occupied Austria coincides with the 25th anniversary of the film version's release. - Southwest bureau
