ROANOKE STICKS IT TO PFEIFFER 20-7

Colin McGahren scored four goals and Don Bergeron and Mark DiBenedetto scored three apiece as Roanoke College pummeled Pfeiffer 20-7 in the final men's lacrosse home game for the Maroons' seniors Saturday.

Bergeron joined All-America goalie Steve Mason and Mark Lawrence to go out in style as the Maroons, ranked 12th in Division III, ran their record to 8-5.

Roanoke plays again on April 30 against Division I powerhouse Virginia.
