GIBSON-CARTER

Kimberly Jean Carter and Curtis Baron Gibson were married April 20, 1991, at the Tabernacle of Love. Pastor Andrew Robinson performed the ceremony. The bride was given in marriage by her uncle, Eldrige Crawford. Maid of honor was Stacy Carter, sister of the bride. Bridesmaid was Tracy Conner. Flowergirls were Jessica Taylor and Rachael Burgess. Best man was Curtis Gibson, father of the groom. Ushers were Steve Dalton and Tim Carter. The guestbook was attended by Theresa Carter. The bride is the daughter of Phyllis Carter and the late James Carter, of Vinton. She is a graduate of William Byrd High School and is employed by Lewis Gale Hospital. The groom is the son of Shirley King and Curtis Gibson, of Charlottesville, Va. He is a graduate of Shawsville High School and is employed by Roanoke City Fire Dept. The couple will make their home in Elliston, Va.
