GOFF-UNDERHILL

Laina Christine Underhill and Joseph Scott Goff were married March 30, 1991 in Blacksburg United Methodist Church by Rev. Jack Minnick. The reception was held at the University Club. The maid of honor was Gretchen Distler, best friend of the bride. The bridesmaids were Amy Underhill, Yvonne Underhill and Kim Thomas. The best man was Wilson E. Goff, father of the groom. The ushers were David Mutispaugh, Jeffrey Hamm, Jim Moore, Bill Goff. The bride's gown was a cream/ivory color. It had a chapel length train with lace edging and a sequined bodice with off the shoulder bows. She carried a bouquet of pink roses, purple statice, lilys, and assorted white flowers. The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert G. Underhill of Blacksburg. She is a graduate of Olney Friends School, Barnesville, Ohio and attended Virginia Commonwealth University. She is employed by King & King Personnel Consultants. The bridegroom, son of Mr. and Mrs. Wilson E. Goff of Lexington, is a graduate of Elon College and is employed by Crestar Bank. The newlyweds will live in Richmond after the wedding trip to the Smokey Mountains.
