NO SUCH THING AS A ONE-MAN WAR

IN REGARD to Jay Fulcher's April 9 letter, "Words lacking to thank Terry Plunk": There is no such thing as a one-man war.

In the wars that have been, millions of servicemen went. Thousands sacrificed their lives.

There still are thousands in veterans hospitals, and thousands of disabled veterans live in their homes.

It took all of these servicemen to win the wars, so that we can live in a free country. Thank God for them all. They are all heroes. MARIE FOLEY CATAWBA
