McCOY, NANCY Q. Mrs. Nancy Quinn McCoy, of Roanoke, died January 10, 1992. She was a graduate of University of North Carolina at Greensboro and held masters degree at Virginia Tech. Mrs. Quinn was associated with the Roanoke County Schools for 25 years as Guidance Coordinator at William Byrd and Northside High School. She was a member of numerous educational and guidance organizations on both the state and national levels. Mrs. McCoy was a member of St. Johns Lutheran Church and was preceded in death by her father, Josh Quinn and a brother, Patrick Quinn. Surviving is her husband, Ben C. McCoy, III; two sons, Ben C. McCoy, IV; Michael R. McCoy; her mother, Ella Ray Quinn of Clemmons, N.C.; one sister, Janette Mellish of Toledo, Ohio; two brothers, Michael Quinn of Athens, Ga.; Barry Quinn of Winston Salem, N.C. Services will be from St. Johns Lutheran Church at 3:00 p.m. Sunday. The Rev. Mark A. Graham will officiate. Interment will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday in the Clemmons Moravian Church Cemetery in Clemmons, N.C. The Rev. Burton Wright will officiate. Friends may call at Oakey's South Chapel from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Saturday and from Voglers Clemmons Chapel in North Carolina from 8:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Sunday. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Roanoke Ronald McDonald House or Nancy McCoy Scholarship Fund at William Byrd High School. Arrangements by Oakey's South Chapel.
